About

I'm Seungmin, a senior in economics and international relations at Yonsei University. I'm interested in how institutions decide what counts as effective, and what those measures leave out. It's a question I've pursued through comparative public policy, IPE, and international development cooperation.

Alongside my studies, I report on Korean economic and foreign policy, with bylines in The Diplomat, East Asia Forum, The Korea Herald, and other outlets.

I'm always up for fun research ideas, writing collaborations, meeting people working on similar questions, or just bookstore hopping in Seoul. Feel free to reach out here or at seungmin@yonsei.ac.kr.
